Baby Sprinkle
We celebrated baby boy number 3 with the sweetest sprinkle. I believe every baby should be celebrated whether it’s the first or tenth! When I thought about how I wanted to celebrate Avett, I envisioned an intimate boho picnic on our back porch!
I had been admiring the Instagram feed from the gals over at Birmingham Picnic Co for awhile. I immediately thought of them to help bring this little sprinkle to life! They were amazing during the planning process asking about all the specific details like which colors I wanted, the number of guests, and the overall feel I was going for.
The next big decision was the food. Another company I found through their beautiful images on the gram was Table & Thyme! They specialize in creating a unique catering experience ranging from weddings to small private gathering. Their food is presented absolutely stunningly and I knew I wanted them a part of the sprinkle!
On the day of the sprinkle, it was so nice not to have to worry about the set up and food. All we had to do was simply hang Celebrate Birmingham’s pretty balloon arches on the deck that a friend picked up the day before. I love their balloon arches to add a little bit of whimsy to any get together! They offer DIY arches, huge gender reveal balloons, complete installs, and more! The Birmingham Picnic team showed up first to set up the beautiful picnic. They provided everything from the place settings, tables, flowers, and pillows. They went above and beyond my vision for a boho picnic with my closest friends and family!
The Table & Thyme crew were the next to show up. They have the set up process down to a T! We had talked before hand about the menu and it was so neat to see it come to life and be displayed so beautifully! Not a single dish wasn’t delicious. My top favorites were the smoked salmon crostinis, house made red pepper hummus, and the homemade chocolate chip cookies! Their rosemary lemonade was also a hit. I am still craving it!
Once my friends and family arrived, it was the cherry on top an already beautiful day. I love opening our home to people we love and I also felt so much love for baby Avett that day! They were all in love with the beautiful picnic setting and amazing food spread. My sister in law and best friend brought cute little mini blue Prosecco’s that paired perfectly with the rosemary lemonade. My sister also came in from NC which made the day extra special.
The whole day was great but sitting around the gorgeous table setting, eating delicious food , and chatting with some of my favorite women on earth was the highlight of the day! Avett is already so loved and I can’t wait to bring him into this wonderful community of friends and family!
