Patriotic Decor
Happy almost Memorial Day friends! This year has just flown by hasn’t it? Even though the first day of summer isn’t until later in June, most consider Memorial Day weekend the unofficial start of summer!
I wanted to share a quick blog post of some of my past and present patriotic decor in case you were looking for a little red-white-and-blue inspo!
I don’t go aaallllll out… after all it’s not pumpkin season or anything crazy like that. But I do like to pick a few targeted areas to make festive for summer. Our front porch is definitely one of those areas.
Last year, I also added a few things to our entryway. I love sticking these inexpensive flags in vases, jars, plants, wreaths… anywhere really!
Full transparency, our mudroom never looks like this! This was a 100% staged photo for the good ‘ol IG. But simply changing out a rug and adding in a throw pillow is all a small little area needs to get into the patriotic spirit! I used this formula for our back deck grill area below too. Works every time!
