Spring Home
I just love this time of year! Everything is blooming, coming back to life, the birds are chirping, everything but the pollen is just fabulous! I am sharing some ways and spaces in our home that I made spring-ready!
Got a tree? Well I discovered this easy hack last summer! Simply use garden clippers to cut a few small branches off and place into a big glass container! Voilà! Simple, statement making arrangement that cost you $0.00!
I also bring out my bright green faux plants this time of year too. They’re my favorite because … well they don’t die! I’ve linked some of my favorite faux pretties here.
Adding spring colors through framed art prints is an easy was to bring spring indoors! I love this pink one I purchased through minted! You can customize the size and frame style too.
I just couldn’t bring myself to put up all the pink after Valentine’s Day so it stayed! I probably will put it in storage when I transition to my summer decor, but for now PINK RULES!
Here’s a small spot that got a Spring update. I recently added this gorgeous custom artwork to the entryway that was made by the talented Lane Bethany! Once it was up, I had to get a new little bench for under it! This one was a target steal.
I know this is NOT very environmentally friendly and I apologize in advance but the kitchen sink is such a high traffic area that it’s easier to just buy inexpensive small rugs when the old ones gives out. I snagged this one for $15 at Target. It adds a fresh spring feel in this little spot!
Spring smells also go a long way in creating a fresh vibe for your home. Antique Candle makes the BEST seasonal scents! I’ve been burning grapefruit and peach apricot daily! (and yes I said vibe, I’m married to a youth pastor who hangs out with high school kids all day, some things flow over to me like the word “Vibe!”
Shameless confession time: this is my second spring coffee bar look. I couldn’t help myself when I got so many beautiful pieces in from Cottonwood Company!!! They stock so many neutral, warm, coastal, farmhouse decor pieces… it’s insane! 90% of the pieces above are from them! Go. Check. Them. Out.!
Lemons and Tulips … is there anything much more springy than this combo? Fresh flowers and fruit your family already eats make great centerpieces too!
You don’t have to go out and buy a ton of new decor each season. Focus on collecting staples throughout the year like pretty vases, planters, frames that you can chance out the art in, and pillow covers that are easily stored.
I hope you feel inspired to put a little “spring” in your step errr home! Thanks so much for reading y’all! as always, I so appreciate it!
