Fall Tablescape
Creating an inviting table for your guest to enjoy
Do you love traditional fall colors of vibrant orange and rich red or do you lean to more of a neutral palate? I love them both but the blues and the over all look of our spaces play better with the latter. No matter your color preference for fall it is easy to create your own tablescape for your friends and family! I hosted the pastors’ wives from our church and had so much fun creating this for our dinner.
Its all in the details…
I plucked off a few of the faux eucalyptus leaves and turned them into little place settings. Little touches like this can really make your company feel special.
I sold off my orange casual china that I registered for at our wedding 10 years ago and have been collection this beautiful white Juliska over the last year. I love how I can add accent plates like these and totally change up your table while still using my everyday plates.
This eucalyptus garland is such a functional decor item. I can think of 5 places I could put it right now to create a totally different space. I have been trying to be more intentional with my home decor shopping in buying pieces that work well in many areas!
The gold flatware comes out during the fall and winter holidays. They are an inexpensive set that has held up to occasional wear just fine.
My favorite part of hosting is seeing the people I care about enjoying themselves in our home. The amount of joy I experienced creating this fall table doesn’t even compare to the amount of joy I had the night of the gathering. The conversations were rich, the prayers heartfelt. We laughed and cried. It was a memorable night that I had the honor of hosting! I hope you found something inspiring here and maybe feel the nudge to host your own special dinner!
