Wild One First Birthday Party

Our sweet baby Smith turned ONE back in November! With the craziness of the holidays, I am just now getting around to doing a blog post on it… at this rate I should be sharing our Christmas house tour on here by June.

I said that I was going to a “low key” First Birthday for our second… This is low key for me. I get to looking on pinterest… Then I get to poking around on Amazon… then before I know it I am hot glueing little party hats on tiny plastic safari animals!

In all honesty we kept it pretty simple. We had a very few guests, mainly family. I didn’t send invitations, and the food was all super simple… I mean unwrapping Zebra Cakes?!?! Doesn’t get easier than that!

I did order the boys some festive attire! Smith will get lots of wear out of his cute zebra onesie and I’m sure wild man Cedar will be wearing this palm leaf shirt to church come spring… Palm Sunday? Click any of the items below to shop!

I pulled out my trusty Cricut and made these cupcake toppers and the highchair banner!

Thank you Pinterest! This was super cute and easy! Its just hummus in the middle!

I found a cookie dough dip only too that we dipped animal crackers in. This was the hit of the party! It should be called crack dip!

It was such a fun day celebrating our little squish! Come back in for Christmas in July… in the meantime watch the video I made of Smith “smashing” his cake!
